좋아요, 그게 합리적으로 들리네요.
익명성이라는 측면은 강조하지 않는 게 좋겠습니다. IP로 보내는 방식 대신 비트코인 주소가 널리 쓰이게 된 만큼, 자동으로 익명이 보장되는 듯한 인상을 줘서는 안 됩니다. 가명으로 쓰는 것은 가능하지만, 조심해야 합니다. 누군가 거래 내역을 파헤쳐서 사람들이 익명이라고 생각했던 정보가 드러나기 시작하면, 정말 그렇게 쓰고 싶다면 미리 주의를 기울여야 한다고 사전에 경고해서 기대치를 조정해 두지 않았을 경우 반발이 훨씬 더 클 겁니다. Tor에서 말하는 것처럼요, "Tor가 여러분의 모든 인터넷 활동을 마법처럼 암호화해 주지는 않습니다. Tor가 여러분에게 해 주는 일과 해 주지 않는 일을 이해하십시오."
또, anonymous라는 말은 왠지 수상쩍게 들립니다. 익명을 원하는 사람들은 우리가 떠들지 않아도 알아서 알아낼 거라고 생각합니다.
bitcoin.org 홈페이지를 좀 고쳤습니다. 번역을 업데이트하는 게 꼭 필요하지는 않습니다. 저는 그 뒤로도 한동안 계속 고치고 다듬는 편이라, 업데이트하고 싶다면 기다리는 게 좋습니다.
"anonymous"라는 단어와 "anonymity means"에 대한 문장을 삭제했습니다. 당신이 "...CAN be kept hidden..."이라고 아주 신중하게 표현해서 삭제하기 아쉬웠지만요.
대신 하단에 Tor 사용 안내를 추가했고, Tor 안내 바로 뒤에 익명(사실은 가명)을 유지하는 방법에 대한 안내를 붙였습니다: "익명(사실은 가명)을 유지하고 싶다면, 자신의 비트코인 주소를 자신의 신원과 연결하는 어떤 정보도 드러내지 않도록 조심하고, 받는 대금마다 새 비트코인 주소를 사용하십시오."
이제 Tor를 통해 자동으로 시드를 받을 수 있게 된 점도 도움이 됩니다.
하단에 가기 전까지는 anonymous라는 말이 나오지 않지만, 신분 정보를 가져갈 중앙 기관이 없다는 점이나 비트코인 주소의 생김새 같은 다른 특성들을 보고 익명을 찾는 사람들은 이미 눈치챌 거라고 생각합니다.

slashdot에서 (아주 눈에 잘 띄는 댓글로) 연결된 sourceforge의 오래된 FAQ였습니다. 한동안 bitcoin.org가 다운되어서 사람들이 거기로 가고 있었습니다.

It was an old FAQ on sourceforge that had been linked from slashdot (on a
highly visible comment). people were going there because bitcoin.org was
down
for a while.

번역자들(적어도 좀 더 신뢰할 수 있는 사람들)이 drupal에 사용자 계정을 가져서 번역한 글을 직접 업데이트할 수 있게 하는 게 가능할까요? drupal의 사용자 계정은 권한이 꽤 약한 것 같습니다. satoshi 계정을 만들어 봤는데 사이드바 같은 건 편집할 수도 없고, 페이지의 본문만 편집할 수 있더군요. 사용자 계정으로는 관리 기능에는 전혀 접근할 수 없는 것 같습니다. 안전하다고 생각하시나요, 아니면 그렇게 하는 게 불안하신가요? 걱정되신다면 홈페이지의 영어판만 잠그는 방법이 있을지도 모르겠네요.
홈페이지를 고쳐야 할 때 그 내용을 모든 번역에 반영하는 단순 작업을 Xunie 같은 사람에게 맡기고 제가 직접 그 일을 다 하지 않아도 된다면 좋겠네요. (가벼운 수정은 대부분 언어를 이해하지 않아도 번역된 페이지를 고칠 수 있습니다)

Is it possible for the translators (at least the more trusted ones) to
have user accounts on drupal so they can update their translated text
directly? The user accounts on drupal appear to be pretty weak. I
created a satoshi account and it can't even edit the side bar stuff,
just the main text of pages. I don't think user accounts can access any
of the admin stuff. Do you think it's safe, or do you feel insecure
about doing that? If you're worried, maybe there's a way to lock just
the english version of the homepage.
It would be nice if when I need to make changes to the homepage, I could
enlist someone like Xunie to do the rote work of reflecting it to all
the translations instead of having to do all that work myself. (many
light changes don't require understanding the language to fix the
translated pages)

호스팅을 고를 때 조사를 좀 하셨죠, 잘 고르신 거 맞죠? 바꾸려면 엄청나게 번거로울 것 같고, 지금까지 이 업체와는 운이 좋았습니다. 더 싼 곳은 보통 품질에서 그에 상응하는 단점이 있기 마련이죠.
그 추가 메모리는 그냥 디스크 캐시 같은 게 아닐까 싶네요.
그 기부자한테서는 아직 아무것도 못 받으신 거죠? 보내겠다고 꽤 확신하는 듯했고, 어쩌면 더 보낼지도 모르겠네요. (뭔가 받게 되면, 기부를 받았다는 사실을 그분을 위해 비밀로 해야 합니다)

I take it you haven't received anything from that donor yet? He seemed
pretty certain he was going to send it, maybe more. (if you get
anything, we need to keep private for him the fact that we got a donation)
